I just discovered the first two episode titles of the returning Doctor Who series...the first NEW episode titles since 1989. I actually experienced a faster-than-normal heart beat for a moment, as I realized one of the greatest shows EVER...and the one that was a formative part of my childhood...really is returning to our screens!
I'm now doing the happy dance in the corner of my classroom...where no one can see it...
Former Students Are Surprising
I've just been emailing with an ex-student of mine, who is now off to college, and later (hopefully) to university. I was filled with pride to read how passionate he is about certain aspects of life, much more so than when he was in my class...but he does seem to offer some credit to whatever guidance I was able to imply.
I'm not sure I possess any true wisdom at the moment, but he did suggest that I do have my own brand...and that it's rubbed off on him. Now he apparently wants to go to Laurier and take Political Science...which is what I majored in at that very same school.
It seems that I am populating the world with my army of Liberal-thinking minions. I certainly can't complain. :)
