Proof continues to mount (like any more was necessary) that the people who are running for the Conservative Party are, to use a phrase from my 1980s childhood, psycho hose beasts!

TORONTO - In what is becoming a repeated pattern, a senior Conservative official was forced to distance the party from a candidate's controversial remarks � this time about Canada's amended hate law.
Conservative House leader John Reynolds downplayed comments Sunday by his Tory colleague calling for the repeal of Canada's new law.
In an interview with CTV News, Ottawa-area MP Cheryl Gallant said she opposed the new law, that was recently amended to include sexual orientation as one of the protected groups.
"The danger in having sexual orientation just listed, that encompasses, for example, pedophiles," Gallant said.

So...homosexuals and pedophiles are one in the same, eh?
Well it seems to me that Conservative values and excrement might also be comparable!
How can the citizens of this nation even consider voting for such people? What will it take to convince people that the Conservative Party is full of terrifying people who have no business being legislators...a ministry for the moral inquisition?
Wake up, Canada, and smell the extra large double-double that's sitting right in front of you! The Conservative Party cannot be allowed to govern this country. Not until the words tolerance, moderation, and compassion are forcibly lodged into their narrow brains!
