Allison Janey won her fourth consecutive Emmy award last night. She won a best supporting actress Emmy during The West Wing’s early years, and now three consectuive best actress awards.
I couldn’t imagine The West Wing without the character of C.J. In a cast of people representing the conscience of America, she is the most passionate, the most forceful, and the most wonderful. I don’t think she’s ever had a bad scene in the history of the show, and I doubt she ever will.
I’m starting to salivate about the upcoming 6th season. It can’t come soon enough…
