Halloween nerves

Halloween on a Sunday…and right wing Christians everywhere are pulling their hair out over the forces of darkness having to share their holy day.

I like that. wink

But I’m worried…there’s a strange calm-before-the-storm air about the place, as we tick down towards the zero hour of the U.S. election. The recent Osama video has become an unwelcome October surprise, and I’m beginning to believe he just handed the election to George W. Bush.

My friends tell me that it’s still too close to call…but recent electoral college projections aren’t exactly thrilling me.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced another 4 years of Bushie Junior will plunge the world into a pit of chaos and hate it hasn’t experienced in centuries. Why can’t more people see the abyss into which this idiot could hurl the entire world?

So I sit and I worry…
