It's D-Day...well, actually, it's E-Day

Yes, I’m STILL here. Just been a little busy with marks and mid term report cards. So blogging might be a bit sporadic this week.

But I AM keeping my eyes on today’s U.S. Election…which may well decide the path of world relations for the next four years. My only thought is to share with you a lovely bit of writing from Jeffrey Simpson’s column in today’s Globe and Mail:

“The United States is this amazing country that can send a mission to Mars, crack the genetic code, pin-point a military target from miles above the Earth, gather Nobel prizes every year, produce brilliant novels and wonderful music — but struggles to organize properly a national election.”

That about sums it up. So sit back, and buckle in while we make the jump to lightspeed…and end up God knows where. As long as George W. Bush isn’t there to welcome us at the end of the journey, I’ll be happy.

But we shall have to wait and see…
