Watching last night’s West Wing (see REVIEW section below), made me think.
Will there ever be a female Chief of Staff in the United States? Will there ever be a female President?
For that matter, will there ever be an African-American or Hispanic President?
One thing I appreciate about Sorkinland is that it ploughs ahead with the liberal evolution of society, and dares the real world to catch up to it. So now there’s a female Chief of Staff in President Bartlet’s administration, and the campaign to entice a Hispanic Presidential successor to Bartlet is about to begin in earnest.
Not quite the real world, but it’s nice to have someone point the way forward…
