Kayla Peters, 16, said she was shocked when she withdrew $60 on Nov. 29. She received two $20 bills and two $2 bills in Canadian Tire money.
Reading the rest of the story on the CBC website brought a smile to my face. In all honesty, who HASN’T (at one point or another) mistaken Canadian Tire money for the real thing? It’s an institution in this country…
…but it does make one see the preferred wisdom using HBC points.
