Bishop Fred Henry of Calgary is a bigoted son-of-a-bitch (that’s me being eloquent), and now the entire country is aware of it.
This hateful man has brought on a blizzard of criticism and hate mail by sending out a pastoral letter to his flock arguing that the state must use its coercive power either to proscribe or to curtail homosexuality in society’s interests.
This man goes on to say that privacy of the home is not absolute — no doubt making the late lamented Pierre Trudeau spin in his grave. In regards to homosexuality, he says: “Furthermore, an evil act remains an evil act whether it is performed in public or in private.”
He also links being gay to adultery, prostitution and pornography as human acts that undermine the foundation of the family…and then he has the gaul to say that he is amazed by the hate mail he is receiving?
Bite me, you sactinmonious, shrill, screwed up excuse for a human being. You say you are tired of political correctness? Well, I AM TIRED of decrepit, ancient throwbacks to the 16th century, who long for the days of inquisitions and crusades. Bishop Henry, you are an abomination: a blight on the land, a repulsive abhorrence to everyone who believes in equal rights and freedoms.
I’d invite you to go to hell, but no doubt there’s a more politically correct description of that rather warm abode. Look it up while you search for the dictionary definitions of compassion and tolerance.
