UPDATE from yesterday…

Apparently, Karen Redmond, MP for Kitchener Centre, went on local television last night and denied that she is undecided on the same sex marriage issue, as reported in the Globe and Mail. Apparently, she reaffirmed her support for same sex marriage.
I didn’t see the report myself, but she claims to have simply made a “no comment” statement to an umpteenth survey. Just goes to show what trouble a “no comment” statement can cause a politician. For something so important, the Chief Whip of the Government should be more aware of the sensitive nature of what she says in a newspaper phone survey. It’s enough to make me keep her on yesterday’s Hall of Shame list.
If anyone can confirm the details of last night’s news report, please let me know…
Meanwhile, thanks to Greg’s blog, I’ve discovered my moral compass points, courtesy of Moral Politics. You answer a set of 16 questions, and the answers dictate your political leanings and philosophies.
