The Vatican has issued an updated technical rule book to regulate annulments…the first update since 1936!
Apparently, the Pope thinks that getting annulments has become too easy, and he’s going to force people to stay married, whether they want to or not.
Especially those godless, free-loving North Americans!
Ironic, isn’t it? On one hand, the church says same sex marriages will happen over its dead body. On the other hand, it says it’s going to do all it can to stop any more heterosexual marriages from ending.
I wonder which group is the more repressed…?
