Randomness

1—I spent 4 hours in the hospital last night, as my doctor is on holiday, and he doesn’t want me to go to the clinic (it costs him money). Four hours later, I was told to use saline drops and not wear my contacts for about a week.

The medical system at its most scintillating…

2—This Wednesday’s budget will offer tax relief, in the raising of the basic tax exemption for all Canadians. It’s a good move, and I’m glad someone’s doing it at last.

3—U.S. President George W. Bush appealed to Europe on Monday to move beyond animosities over Iraq and join forces in encouraging democratic reforms across the Middle East.

Listen to the way the man speaks. It’s always about wanting a “good” and “strong” Europe. The man speaks as if the continent is a homogeneous bloc…when it most certainly is not!

Like most things the Bushlet touches, this will not go as planned…
