Just when you think certain politicians, without a thorough grounding in history and tact, have said more than enough…along come Mr. Harper and Mr. O’Brien, bringing with them the crap they shovel like undertakers on speed!
1—First of all, we all know that Stephen Harper is an obtuse blowhard, who is so inflexible he could be mistaken for a piece of scrap MDF from an episode of Changing Rooms.
But this isn’t enough for our intrepid (or should that be insipid?) leader of the forces of darkness. In criticizing the budget deal between the Liberals and the NDP, Harper had the unmitigated gaul to declare the following:
“Tommy Douglas must be rolling in his grave, to see how the NDP has abandoned farmers.”
Harper dirties Douglas’ name when he invokes it! This piece of trash, that masquerades as the leader of the official opposition, should really get a sense of historical perspective…or, at the very least, pull his head out of his ass.
Neither of those options is ever likely to happen.
2—Pat O’Brien, the loudest bigot in the Liberal backbench, critcizes Jean Chretien for accepting an award as a gay role model from the Equality Forum in Philadelphia . It is an award that thanks him for his support of same-sex marriage legislation.
What was O’Brien’s prejudiced comment on the issue?
“I don’t think there should be any awards given out for anything which is furthering the erosion of the family and marriage as we have known it throughout Canadian history.”
Mr. O’Brien, you are an unmitigated purveyor of bullshit. Go to hell.
Rant over…for now.
