Well, it’s been a while since I’ve had so much good television and movie happiness on the horizon…but I’m not complaining. After all, tonight the CBC is showing the BIG Doctor Who episode of the season: Dalek. I’ve been waiting for this one for quite a while, and based on the reviews from the UK airing, we’re in for one hell of a treat.
Just LOOK at that wonderful, golden creation: a loving hommage to the tin pepperpots that terrified and fascinated millions of children over the span of 40 years. How can you NOT look forward to so much viewing fun? OF COURSE you’re going to watch this tonight! Can you honestly tell me American-friggin-Idol, in all its putrid decadence, is better than THIS???
Meanwhile, I’m already planning on at least 10 viewings of Star Wars Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith. In anticipation, I’ve hauled my two lightsabres out of storage, ready to play with any other fellow geek who comes along…
