That’s Independent MP Carolyn Parrish’s summation of the situation regarding dragging ill MPs to Ottawa for a confidence vote, and the ugly accusations being thrown around Parliament.
Both Stephen Harper and ill Conservative MP Darrel Stinson (the one who once threatened to start a fight in the House of Commons) have commented that the Liberals are seem to be waiting for opposition MPs to die, in order to survive. As Stinson so (NOT) eloquently put it:
“Is he hoping that some of us may not be able to make it?”
This kind of behaviour is disgusting, degrading, and insidious. Actually, if I were to describe in accurate detail the bile rising in my throat, as a result of watching the Conservative’s despicable display of brinksmanship, we’d ALL be sick to our stomachs! Mind you, if you aren’t sickened by everything that Stephen Harper and his Conservative myrmidons stand for, then there’s something wrong…
Ms. Parrish’s comment hits the nail right on the head. There is no low this wretched excuse for an Official Opposition will scrape, in order to satisfy its naked lust for power.
They must be stopped! NOW!
