It hit 34C yesterday (that 42C with the bloody humidity!)…luckily, I turned on my air conditioner the day before, so my apartment is fairly cool and comfortable…
…however, Hydro One has decided to shut down generators, blaming striking power workers. They’re begging us to lower our power usage, or face blackouts…just as we suffer through the hottest days in years!
Like it’s our fault we’re melting? Make a deal with your workers, you inept bozos!
The Funny
I received two gifts yesterday. One was a pristine, advanced copy of the Doctor Who season finale — the commercial free BBC1 broadcast, which I have watched ad nauseum in a state of hyper-ecstasy (see review below).
The other gift was the discovery of the Angry Alien Productions website — a gloriously mad & loopy website in which animated bunnies act out entire movies in 30 seconds.
Yes, you read that correctly: it means that you too can watch Jaws or The Exorcist (my personal favourites!) re-enacted by bunnies. In fact, you should go and watch it immediately…but be warned. I laughed until I spasmed!
