Conservative Leader Stephen Harper raised hackles in the House of Commons Monday after saying Canadians won’t feel the same-sex marriage law is legitimate because it will only pass with the support of a separatist party.
The Tory leader said Monday that the bill will pass only because the Liberals made a deal with the Bloc.
“I think it will lack legitimacy for a lot of Canadians,” said Harper. “The truth is, most federalist MPs will oppose this legislation.”
The man has now proven, beyond any doubt, that he is totally insane! He dares to suggest that Federalists are bigots AND that voters in Quebec who sent the Bloc to the Commons have nothing in common with the rest of Canada!
And this man thinks he can be Prime Minister one day???
OH MY GOD!
This is a travesty against justice, equality & common sense. The rampant homophobia of the Conservative party must be stopped HERE AND NOW! There is no way in hell that they EVER deserve a chance to run this glorious nation…because all they will do is run it into the ground with their outrageous, divisive, US-Republican-inspired dogma!
You want a war over the soul of this country, Harper? You got one…and I’ll give you some free advice: give up now, because you are going to LOSE!
