I’ve been reading the letters sents to cbc.ca regarding Alberta’s ridiculous musing to legalize rampant homophobia within its cadre of marriage commissioners, using the notwithstanding clause.
Certainly, there ARE a few right-wing loonies in among the letters, but on the whole, it would seem to me to reflect that Canada is indeed charging ahead into the future, as one of the most tolerant societies in history.
Go read the letters here…and if you see Ralph Klein, tell him to bugger off!
