Theoretically, a hurricane the size of Katrina — stalking Louisiana as I write this — could turn this city into a flooded, emptied sci-fi nightmare of tall buildings poking above the surface of a new mini-ocean. Countless lives could be lost…
Is the doomsday scenario being played out as I write this entry? All it would take is a small turn to the right or left…but then, other cities would be affected.
