That was the best line from last night’s Gilmore Girls — where the funniest scene was watching as a main character’s illusions were shattered during what he thought would be a genteel girl’s soccer game. Instead, it was a bloody battle-to-the-death, complete with raging, rabid soccer moms on the sidelines, and female players decisively claiming that there’s no point in winning the game without getting a little O Negative on their jerseys!
The only thing that topped it was Rory’s (Alexis Bledel) paranoid — and delightfully geeky cross-referencing — claim about her ever-watchful grandmother: “I’m convinced there’s five models of her walking around at all times. She’s like a Cylon…creepy.”
Battlestar Galactica makes it into Gilmore Girls! I love this show…
