It’s bad enough that I’ve spent the last two weeks trapped in a cycle of worry, terror, exhaustion…and now have to adujust to a new normal of constantly making sure my mother monitors her dormant cancer nodules.
But THIS…the current seat projections for the forthcoming elections…seriously make me wonder if my country is doomed. Perhaps it’s time to pick up and move to a country where progressive civilization doesn’t seem to be at risk…such as Britain.
My country sits at the edge of an abyss. Ridiculous people, hankering for change, are charging blindly towards the Conservatives like lemmings stampeding to the edge of a cliff. Sheep, running into the maw of rabid wolves.
We’re doomed.
