Please, Canada...RAIN on his parade!

harperumbrella.jpg

With the ever increasing possibility of a Conservative majority government, Stephen Harper tried to reassure people yesterday that he won’t have ultimate power to push through his agenda of evil and terror.

Speaking to reporters in Quebec, Harper said a Tory majority would only be able to exercise limited power in Ottawa because of a Liberal-dominated Senate and bureaucracy appointed by Liberal governments:

“There’s certainly no absolute power for a Conservative government and no real true majority. We will have checks on us and limits on our ability to operate that a Liberal government would not face.”

It’s the strangest, most disturbing thing I’ve ever heard. Is he trying to say that the Conservatives can’t work their evil agenda simply due to safeguards that prevent them from acting on their dark plans?

And he thinks that’s ok?!? What the hell is this man planning on doing as Prime Minister?!?

People of Canada…listen to this appeal!

Vote for the Liberals, the NDP or the Greens…but do NOT vote for the party that would plunge us into the abyss.

The Conservatives will lead us to nothing but a nation of savagely-cut social programs, fewer rights and freedoms for minorities, fundamentalist Christian influences, massive deficits to pay for their grandiose military dreams AND their sucking up to regional interests. I thought head-waitering to the provinces died out with Joe Clark’s political career!

We will become a poor-man’s clone of the George W. Bush vision of the United States of America. We will be a shell of what we once were…

Fight against this movement! Vote for a progressive party with true Canadian values. Remember…blue is the NEW black!
