Today’s Globe & Mail has a tally of the vote count, should same-sex marriage once again rear its head in Parliament. The dissenting Conservative voices are no surprise, but the following list of Liberals utterly disgusts me. These people, who will happily vote to take rights away from a minority, have NO RIGHT to call themselves defenders of the party of Laurier, Pearson & Trudeau. I find them repulsive in the extreme:

Whatever excuse you have — religion, moral cowardice, hate and/or fear — you can shove it!
On the other hand, I’d like to thank the Conservative MPs that WILL vote to keep same-sex marriage. These are people who can see a tolerant future, and are not afraid of the sky falling in:

It’s not an easy day for me, when I have to excoriate men and women who have the unmitigated gall to call themselves Liberals, while praising Conservatives in the same breath. What is this world coming to…?
