To be honest, Doctor Who has had such an amazing, gripping season so far, it’s blotted out most other shows — even Galactica — from my consciousness. I need a bit of re-grouping before I turn my attention to this year’s concluding chapter of our rag-tag fleet…

(3) …if the season finale of HOUSE didn’t convince you of its outrageous brilliance, then you’re simply out of your mind.
What other show could assemble such a powerful meditation on the nature of humanity, medicine, and frailty…then frame the story around a patient with a tongue that puffs up to the size of a loaf of bread…an eye that pops out of its socket…an exploding testicle…and final, gory oblivion: evisceration via the business end of a state-of-the-art surgical robot!
That’s right…I didn’t make ANY of that up!
