It’s almost time to go.
But fear not, dear readers…I will attempt to post a “yes, I’m alive” entry on Friday night (which will still be Friday afternoon for you EST folks…by then, I’ll be a GMT boy).
What may guarantee this is that I doubt I will sleep, as my friend doesn’t have an air conditioner (they’re not as common in Europe as they are here), and I’m told England is in the middle of an extreme heat emergency. The pavement is apparently melting as I type this…
Ahh…the things I have to look forward to.
