Well, this will be my last chance to blog from England — I won’t be at a computer again until I get home, so be patient for a few days (at least, until Friday).
In the meantime, here’s the poster from the play I’m seeing tonight at the Milton Keynes Theatre: STRANGERS ON A TRAIN

Tomorrow, I’m in London all day. It will be my last big tourist blowout of the vacation. Enough of a blowout — I hope — that it wears me out enough to have a good night’s sleep before the flight home on Thursday…
UPDATE — 11pm GMT
OH MY GOD! I MET DOCTOR WHO!
I tried very hard to be civil and polite, and apparently I was…but afterwards, I jumped up and down, shrieking with joy and giving the word “giddy” a whole new meaning!
Colin Baker — the 6th Doctor (1984 to 1986) — he was pleasant, charming, and very sweet. He teased me about my height, and did his best to pose for a picture with me. We only had a cell phone camera available (I didn’t think I was going to need one tonight at the play), but here’s the best result of a dark night photo:
Oh…and the play was smashing as well…but I’ll blog about that another time….BECAUSE I MET DOCTOR WHO!
I’m not going to sleep tonight AT ALL!!! It’s all down to my host, Colin: a lovely man who arranges miracles for his big, geeky Canadian friend…AND makes nice tea as well!
See you all when I get home!
