In the morning, my mom has a 6-month exam to check out her lymphoma. She seems perfectly healthy — even did well on a recent physical — but we’re all on edge (though some of us are trying hard not to be…), which means I’m not likely to have the best night’s sleep tonight.
Throw in a trip to the Polish Consulate in Toronto tomorrow (overlapping into the afternoon rush hour), and it’s a recipe for some frayed tempers and restlessness. I can feel my neck stiffening up as I write this entry.
Anyhow, any good thoughts and prayers for my mom’s check up are more than welcome. I’ll resurface in a couple of days, when this all (hopefully) blows over.
