Can you sense something in the air?

back2school.gif

It’s the smell of panicked children, sweating with the realization that eight weeks of freedom is coming to an end…

It’s the sound of jabbering reporters on CNN, as they chase hurricanes, for the amusement (and horror) of the viewing public…

It’s the aura of happy & smug parents, dragging their spawn through Wal-Mart and Staples, as they spend thousands of dollars on back-to-school items: their ultimate revenge for eight weeks of babysitting nightmares & frayed nerves…

It’s the sound of improbable traffic jams on suburban streets, as thousands of first year university and college students attempt to move into their dorms simultaneously…

That “thing” in the air? It’s fall…autumn…the season of falling leaves. It’s upon us once again. You can’t escape it…and yet…it’s as familiar as slipping into a hot bath. Wecolme back, September. You never get the appreciation you deserve. smile
