Yes…thanks to the magic of the Internet, I have seen Doctor Who’s third series premiere, Smith and Jones.

I enjoyed it immensely: slick, confident, funny, occasionally outrageous, with a beautiful coda…and an amazing new character with Martha Jones…
…but that’s ALL the review you’re going to get out of me…for now.
With the early appearance of Doctor Who this year on the CBC (in June), I have decided to hold off on formal reviews until then. It gives me some breathing space after a season of solid Battlestar Galactica reviews…as well as the chance to simply enjoy each episode as the geeky still-11-year-old viewer I always am…and always will be.
So, bring on next week and The Shakespeare Code…but for the rest of you out there, I counsel patience…
UPDATE @ 5:22pm
Well, looks like THIS time, my friend James is going to provide early reviews. Go HERE to see his review of Smith and Jones…one I very much agree with…
Maybe the nature of the internet will force me to change my mind…we’ll see how I feel after The Shakespeare Code airs…
UPDATE @ 6:01pm
OK…OK…I’ve been asked via email to change my mind, you geeky jackals…so be it…give me a day or so…
Bugger having an audience…they WANT to be FED! ![]()
