A day after blogging about Paris Hilton and her get-out-of-jail-free-card treatment, fate steps in bitch slap the heiress back to reality (and with thanks to CNN):
A judge has ordered Paris Hilton returned to jail to serve out her 45-day sentence for a probation violation. She was taken from court screaming “It’s not right!” The frenzy over Hilton’s jail status began Thursday when sheriff’s officials released her because of an undisclosed medical condition and sent her home under house arrest.
Ok, so it seems I AM a vindictive man…but it’s nice to see that there are those who are stepping up and finally saying ENOUGH to the vacuous party-hard celebrities who think they can get away with a slap on the wrist, while the rest of humanity must function under a different set of standards. This almost makes up for Mel Gibson’s anti-Jewish, drunken rant…almost…
…and to their credit, I didn’t see ONE TV REPORT about the incident on CNN, between 5pm and 5:45pm…good for them!
