Leave it to The Onion to put a very welcome smile on my face. 
Recently, Wal-Mart instituted a policy of cracking down on shoplifters, and prosecuting offenders as young as 16 years of age. The Onion decided to seek the opinion of the person-on-the-street, regarding this new policy…and here’s a sample:
“As a sovereign nation, Wal-Mart has the right to create and enforce whatever crime-prevention laws it sees fit.”
