Before my life is hurled into re-start mode tomorrow, here are a few tidbits of mental flotsam & jetsam…
(1) So my candidate Hilary came third in Iowa…but that’s not the end of the story. Her hubby Bill got a measley 3% in Iowa in 1992…all these years later, millions of people would bend backwards so that he could be President for another eight years! Even George W. Bush’s dad lost Iowa, yet eventually won the Presidency. New Hampshire will be a much bigger test of whether or not the fiery momentum of Barack Obama will translate into long term victory. Tuesday night will be interesting…
(2) Britney Spears is falling apart. Someone again remind me WHY this is news?
(3) Dr. Phil has become involved with the Britney problem/saga/wanna-be-1980s-soap opera/reality show-of-shows. Again…news? WHY?
(4) After careful consideration, President Musharraf of Pakistan has grudgingly admitted that ex-Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto may have been shot (well DUH!) and not died after hitting her head on the sun-roof lever of her SUV (HAHAHAHAHA!). This is almost as ridiculous as watching the army of paparazzi swarming around Britney Spears’ house, like house flies on crack…
(5) A Wisconsin man convicted of having sexual contact with a dead deer has been sentenced to nine more months in jail.
Frankly…there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING I CAN SAY to make the above sentence sound any more perverse than it already does!
