What’s good about today’s snow day? THREE EXTRA HOURS of sleep! That’s not simply good… that’s positively luxurious. A gift from the gods.
What’s bad about today’s snow day? There were NO CLASSES today…just a professional development/prepare-for-Monday day, without the kids. The end result feels less deliciously evil that it should be…the ultimate anti-climax.
As for the lemony-fresh…well, snow day = laundry day. For clothing and for me, for as my laundry tumbled into cleanly perfection in the dryer, I soaked in a hot bath tub, reading a book and being as decadent as I could, given the circumstances.
And the best part of today’s snow day? I didn’t have to shovel the snow…not once! I’m now completely relaxed…and ready for two more relaxing days ahead. This is definitely a day I’ve savoured…and deserved. I certainly wouldn’t mind a few more…
