My latest Galactica post, as you can see…is delayed.
Why?
Because the evil home improvement/DIY gods have consumed my mother. CONSUMED HER, I tell you!
I spent 3 hours last night moving furniture, getting ready for the painters…the shuttling back and forth between Home Depot and Rona, looking for lights…then off to another store — smothered in bed coverings, wall coverings, and coverings for rooms that don’t even need coverings — to look for new blinds…
It’s an orgy of home decoration madness…and it has left me with the following opinions:
(1) I hate painting!
(2) I hate looking at lights!
(3) I hate shopping for blinds!
(4) The world should be nothing but bare white walls…bare, white UNCOVERED WALLS!
Now that there is a small GAP in this universe of colour co-ordination, I will TRY to write up my BSG review sooner, rather than later…if I’m not drafted into painting ANOTHER bathroom! You’ll know if it happens…the scream will echo throughout the heavens!
