It’s been a bit of a rough & tiring go in my neck of the woods, so I’ve been indulging in a little televisual nostalgia to ease the tension.
One of the delightful (and addictive) wonders of YouTube is that it allows me to re-live some of the warmest TV memories of my youth…whether it be some of the best of Canadian television (back in the days when the CBC was actually interested in creating great television)…or some of the wonderful shlockiness I found irresistable as a kid.
So, as April ends, I’ll share a couple of title sequences with you, dear readers. The first is from the fifth season of Street Legal (1986-94) — the best-ever Canadian-produced drama. While LA Law cut a soap-opera-ish swath through the late 80s and early 90s, Street Legal managed to do it for half the price…and ended up being twice as fabulous!
It also had one wicked saxaphone-based title theme… ![]()
The next sequence is from the third season of Wonder Woman (1976-79)…and if you were a kid during the late 70s and early 80s, then this beyond-sweet slice of oh-so-disco nostalgia will need NO explanation…enjoy. ![]()
