It seems I have been pre-occupied. As soon as I finish one thing, I’m trapped into doing something else without warning…which has forced me to neglect this blog for the last few days.
So…here’s what is coming soon (fingers crossed):
(1) WITHER THE WATCHMEN?
Yes, I have seen the film…and frankly, I’m still not sure what to write. So much brilliance…yet so much disappointment! Let me sort out my thoughts a bit longer and I’ll try to put something coherent together…
(2) BOOK BINGING
It continues…including all 900+ pages of The Pillars of the Earth, which I breezed through in days. Funny enough, after I read it, all I could think of was “why wasn’t the almost-as-long-but-deadly Grapes of Wrath this good?”
Sorry…but I’ve HATED that book since grade 11, and it was nice (nee: SATISFYING) to read something that could beat its depressing, mumbling, frustrating characters into the ground! Between Pillars and the latest batch of Doctor Who novels, please wait patiently for the book reviews to come…
(3) CRANKING UP THE RIDICULOUSNESS

Completely, utterly absurd & astonishing gobshite!!!
Cue jiggling boobies, bloody self-inflicted wounds, oozing silicon, ethnic stereotypes, and violence on a scale that reduced me to open-mouthed revulsion, mixed in with uncontrollable laughter! Well, it WAS supposed to be a comedy…
Nothing more to see here…move on. ;-)
