The Polish Adventure 12: Jaroslaw

Unlike the town of Tarnobrzeg, where one part of my family lives, JAROSLAW (where we are currently based) is far more like Przemysl, instead of some modern, non-character, Communist-planned town. However, it’s smaller and far more run down than mighty Przemysl. That said, there are signs of construction and renovation going on everywhere in the city centre, and in a few years, most of the beautiful stone buildings of this grand, ancient little city will shine once more. Here are some shots of the main square & centre of town…

OK, unless something VERY surprising happens, this will be all from me until about Tuesday/Wednesday. The next few days will be mostly family time and some backtracking, and there isn’t any major tourist trip scheduled for me and the mothership until next week. But you never know…so stay tuned.
