MORE geeky DOCTOR WHO & Holiday SciFi news...

As part of SPACE - The Imagination Stations’s wall-to-wall series of Christmas holiday marathons (full days broadcasting all of the Star Trek & Star Wars films, and all current Stargate Universe episodes), we get a big slice of rich Doctor Who goodness (wording courtesy of the Doctor Who News Page):

SPACE has confirmed that both episodes of the 10th Doctor’s finale — The End of Time — will be broadcast on Saturday, January 2nd, 2010.

The final two episodes of David Tennant’s tenure as The Doctor will be transmitted back to back, with Part One beginning at 8pm, and Part Two beginning at 9.20pm. Both episodes will be preceded by a repeat of the first three specials, The Next Doctor, Planet of the Dead and The Waters of Mars making a total of seven hours of Doctor Who on the channel.

And if that is not enough Doctor Who, all five episodes of Torchwood - Children of Earth will be shown earlier in the day. All of this will be followed by encore broadcasts over the next 12+ hours.

Let the geeky holiday SQUEES begin…and here’s a BBC holiday trailer with some End of Time goodness…to make those squees even louder! :D
