I’ve been to London FOUR times…but like Samuel Johnson, I never get tired of the glories of the imperial capital. However, it does mean I’ve photographed quite a bit of it in the past. Therefore, here is a selection of places I haven’t visited in the past, mixed with shots of old favourites…
(1) TRAFALGAR SQUARE
Because that’s where you always start a London trip…

(2) THE STRAND
We spent our dinner time in the square mile of the original Roman part of London, known as “The City”. Included are shots of the Inns of the Court, the pub where we ate our first dinner, the Temple Church, and Somerset House.

(3) BANQUETING HALL
The only surviving pre-18th century royal building in Westminster, built during the reign of the 17th century Stuarts. It was the location of the execution of Charles I & the place where William III & Mary II were offered the joint throne of England, beginning the Glorious Revolution of 1688.

(4) WEMBLEY
The location of our hotel…and here is the view from the Wembley Park Underground station, across from the stadium.

LONDON - Day 2 is coming soon…
